|_||_|\___||_||_|\___/ (_) š» I’m Florent Montesano, a software engineer with over 13 years of experience.
š® In my free time, I focus on game development, creating prototypes and building my own game framework.
My Current Interests
I am currently fascinated by the intersection of game development, software architecture, and artificial intelligence. My personal projects are centered around two key goals:
- Building the MonoRpg Framework: A reusable 2D RPG framework built from the ground up with C# and MonoGame. The goal is to create a robust, performant, and clean foundation for future game projects.
- AI-Assisted Development: I am actively exploring and documenting workflows to leverage AI assistants in complex development tasks, such as large-scale refactoring, architectural planning, and content generation. This blog is a living document of that journey.
Professional Experience
I work as a technical leader, where I enjoy mentoring junior developers and sharing my experience with my workmates.
Here is an overview of the projects and technologies I’ve worked with for French aeronautics industries:
- Unity, C#: Developed 3D applications deployed on iPads.
- Unity, C#: Developed Hololens 2 Mixed Reality applications used in the aeronautic industry.
- Typescript, JS: Developed Node.js backends and web/mobile clients with the Ionic framework.
- Java: Developed backends and rich clients.
